Your Free Savings Estimate

STEP 1 OF 3 · Your basics

How Healthzora finds your savings

We're not a Medicare plan. We're an estimator that compares what you're currently paying against what's available in your ZIP code — then matches you with a licensed agent who can explain how to switch and save.

1

Tell us about your situation

90-second form: ZIP code, age, and what you're currently spending on Medicare each month. Soft inquiry only — won't touch your credit score.

2

See your estimate

You get an estimated annual savings figure based on what's available in your ZIP code at your situation. No fluff — just a real number.

3

Talk to a licensed agent

A licensed insurance agent in your state will call you to explain how to actually capture the savings during open enrollment. You decide if it's right for you.

"Didn't know I could switch outside of open enrollment. Turns out I had a qualifying event (moved to a new state) and could re-shop. The agent walked me through it patiently."

Questions people ask first

Is Healthzora affiliated with Medicare? +
No. Healthzora is a private, independent referral service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Medicare program, the Social Security Administration, or any government agency. The official government Medicare website is medicare.gov.
How is the savings estimate calculated? +
We compare what you tell us about your current Medicare spending against the average plan premiums available in your ZIP code for your age and Medicare situation. The estimate is a typical-case figure — not a guarantee. Actual savings depend on the specific plan you choose, your doctors, your prescriptions, and your specific situation. Your matched agent gives you a personalized answer.
Will using this affect my current Medicare? +
No. Filling out the estimator does not enroll you in anything or change your current Medicare. Nothing happens until you speak with a licensed agent, review options, and explicitly decide to switch plans during a valid enrollment period.
When can I actually switch plans? +
Most plan switches happen during Annual Open Enrollment (October 15 – December 7) for coverage starting January 1. There's also a Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (January 1 – March 31) and Special Enrollment Periods triggered by qualifying life events (moving, losing employer coverage, etc.). Your matched agent will identify which applies to you.
How does Healthzora make money? +
Our partner insurance carriers pay us a referral fee for qualified introductions to licensed insurance agents. You pay nothing. The agent who calls you is licensed and paid by the insurance carrier whose plan you eventually enroll in, only if you do.
What if I'm not on Medicare yet? +
You can start exploring options 3 months before your 65th birthday — that's the beginning of your Initial Enrollment Period. If you're more than 90 days away from 65, we'll add you to a follow-up list and reach out when you're in the enrollment window.

Savings estimates are typical-case figures, not guarantees. The "$1,180 average annual savings" and "$400-$1,800" ranges referenced on this page are based on Healthzora user-reported savings after switching plans through partner agents in 2024-2025. Your actual savings depend on your specific Medicare plan, current premiums, doctors, prescription needs, and the plans available in your ZIP code. Not every consumer realizes savings, and some consumers may pay more under a different plan. Your matched licensed agent will provide a personalized estimate.

The "73% are overpaying" figure is derived from publicly reported analyses of Medicare beneficiary plan choices, not Healthzora-proprietary data. Whether you personally are overpaying depends on your specific situation; not every user discovers savings.
